Initial examination after an order is important for developing new models. The last spurt of design and problem solving at this point have a major impact on rate of problems arising after mass production, so we fully utilize simulations to support the smooth start-up of mass production and smooth production.
Our enhanced development system
The success or failure of press products is almost entirely due to moldability. Hiraoka Body does modeling with CAD, and thoroughly checks moldability with simulation software. In some cases, we also propose best designs from the view of press manufacturers to automobile manufacturers. We do not simply follow requests, but propose without hesitation any methods that can perform the same function while producing more efficiently. No one else is capable of this, it thanks to our know-how backed by our long history as a press product manufacturer and our dependable development system that we have established together with the automobile manufacturers who are our customers.
Promoting craftsmanship
Even after conducting advanced CAE and CAT analysis, the quality of finished products relies in no small part on the technology and sensibility of skilled people. Hiraoka Body has realized unique manufacturing by passing from hand to hand technology that fine tunes and does the final finishing of parts that cannot be completed with modeling alone. We sublimate the knowledge and experience to discern thermal strain and warping unique to presses into our company’s proprietary craftsmanship, and use this as our foundation to improve QCD.
